Last Friday, August 30, Kenwood’s Senior Class of 2025 started their first Friday of their senior year with a Senior Sunrise. Seniors gathered on the new turf field at 6:00 Friday morning.
They brought blankets and their own breakfast and enjoyed a morning before class with their friends. There was music and games.
Unfortunately, there wasn’t much of an actual sunrise because the day was overcast but seniors still enjoyed being able to spend time with their friends to celebrate the start of their senior year.
As senior year begins, senior Z’yna B shares with her peers her favorite quote, “Take pride in how far you’ve come. Have faith in how far you’ll go. But don’t forget to enjoy the journey.”
