Kenwood Students Celebrate their First Semester Honor Roll Successes

Some Kenwood students gathered Thursday morning for an Honor Roll Breakfast celebration to recognize their hard work and academic achievements from first and second quarter. During second period students gathered in the school’s cafeteria to indulge in some treats and board games.

In order to make the honor roll students must earn earn As and Bs in all their classes. With one C they can still make the Honor Roll. Students making the Honor Roll are earning a 3.0 or higher GPA.

 

Sophomore Alberto R attended for the first time as he was virtual all of last year. He shares, “Being recognized with your peers for working hard for good grades can keep us motivated cause we feel like our efforts are being seen.”

The new semester just started on January 24 and there’s still plenty of time to get those grades up by the end of the quarter on April 1 to make the third quarter Honor Roll.
