The Fall Sports “Return to Play” season wrapped up on April 16 and by the next day on April 17 the Spring sports season began. After all of last Spring’s season being cancelled due to the pandemic, athletes and coaches were excited to return to the fields these past two months for the Spring season.

Kenwood athletic director Coach Ruocco shares, “It’s been an absolutely wonderful return to play and it gives us so much momentum for an even more normal 2021-2022.” For the overall “Return to Play” Kenwood teams have won 31 of 54 games played.

Though it was a short season, the Spring season came with many highlights for our athletes. Varsity baseball finished their season with an 11-2 record and were the 3A North Regional Champs and made it to the State Quarterfinals.

On the tennis courts, Jalen Dhanoolal had a great season, winning four of his six matches.
Both our boys and girls lacrosse teams held their own against some tough competition with the boys going 2 and 2 and the girls winning 3 of their 5 games.

Kenwood’s Track Team went to the regional championship with 15 other schools to compete at Dundalk High school at the end of the season.
