Kenwood High School is gearing up to showcase the incredible talents of our student artists at the Northeast Area Art Show, happening tomorrow, April 11, from 5 to 7 PM. It’s a fantastic opportunity for our students to shine and for the community to come together and appreciate their work.
Featured artists include Cynthia Matzul-Saloj and Dustin Perry, 11th graders from Ms. Cain’s class at ASFLS Law Office in Towson, along with Adedeji Adedayo and Madison Neugent, both 12th graders. In addition, Amadou Diallo, Isabella Profili, Zariah Smithwick, and Leslie Fletcher will be displayed at the Superintendent’s Gallery.
These students were selected based on the criteria outlined by Ms. Cain, our passionate art teacher, who emphasizes the importance of uniqueness and creativity alongside excellent artistic skills. Ms. Cain couldn’t be prouder of our students, describing them as “phenomenal ambassadors for our school.”
You can catch their artwork at various locations, including the Baltimore County Public Library in Essex, the ASFLS Law Office in Towson, and the Superintendent’s Gallery. It’s a chance to see firsthand the dedication and skill our students have poured into their work.
In addition to showcasing the exceptional talents of our student artists, the evening will be filled with the smooth sounds of live jazz music. There will also be a variety of engaging art activities available for all ages, providing a hands on-experience for everyone to enjoy.
And of course, we’ve arranged for some fantastic food trucks to be on-site to satisfy your cravings as you explore the artwork and immerse yourself in the atmosphere.
So mark your calendars for Thursday, April 11, and join us in an unforgettable evening filled with art, music, great food, and the vibrant spirit of our community. We can’t wait to see you there!
