Everyone has preferred season. Although it’s currently quite cold out, some people are already feeling the effects of allergy season, possibly making spring less appealing to many. With that in mind, I decided to conduct a survey among my classmates. I asked them three questions: What is your favorite season? Why is that your favorite season? And what do you enjoy doing most during that season? The results may surprise you.
Daniel Oloju stated,“Winter, because I enjoy chilling and relaxing with family while building snowmen.” Jon Cernechez favored spring, explaining, “It’s the perfect balance between not too hot and not too cold to spend time outside, making it ideal for spending time outdoors.” Erika Fernandez and four others favored summer, with Erika sharing, “I feel happier during summer, plus I get to visit more places and go to the beach with friends.” Michael Gross and four others preferred fall, with Michael commenting, “It’s the perfect weather for outdoor walks and skating.”
Overall, among my classmates, summer was the clear favorite season. Personally, I like winter because I enjoy building snowmen and indulging in hot chocolate.
A survey of a handful of Kenwood staff and students revealed that:
- Less than 10% favored winter.
- 33% were fans of fall.
- 17% expressed a preference for spring.
- A whopping 42% preferred summer
