Kenwood Hosts 13th Annual Northeast Area Schools Art Show

Kenwood’s annual art show is valued tradition for the Northeast area schools.

Kenwood hosted its  annual art show again on April 13 here at Kenwood down in the tech wing. “It’s a proud thirteen year tradition here at Kenwood,” shares Kenwood’s Art Department Chair Ms. Cain. This was her seventh year organizing the community art show.

There was much art on display, from big paintings to little sculptures. There were food trucks, art activities for kids to engage in, and many people came to view the amazing art from students in the community. The art show is a loved school tradition to bring people of the community together through art. Ms. Cain adds, “The Northeast Kenwood Art Show is a continued hit!”

The art on display was not only from great students here at Kenwood but also from some other schools around the area. Middle River Middle, Essex, Chase, Victory Villa, Orems, Seneca, Glenmar, and Martin Boulevard elementary schools were all participants of the Northeast Art Show.

If you missed this beloved tradition this year be sure to check it out next year when it returns for its fourteenth year.
