Quarantine and closed schools wasn’t going to stop the writers of Kenwood High. Twenty-seven artists and writers contributed fifty-three pages to our second annual publication of The Bluebird Voice Literary Magazine. From creative non-fiction to short stories to poetry, along with art and photography, our writers and artists captured the turbulent times of 2020 as they cover social injustice, activism, growing up in America, cultural identity, life in quarantine with COVID19, and much more while reflecting the feelings of hope and despair that seem to coexist in this time of their coming of age experience.
